P.3+ New Orleans

Opening Night "With Light, With Love"
Group Show at The Tigermen Den
October 2014

In October 2014, BLOOM. SHE IS DESCENDING toured to New Orleans, where the production expanded to include a multi-media installation incorporating video, puppetry, and plant life along with a recorded soundscape. The installation was on view from October 25 - December 6, 2014 as a part of the group show “With Light, With Love” presented by The Tigermen Den for Prospect New Orleans P.3+.

The video installation was projected on a large screen suspended between the french doors of the gallery, with vines and flowers from the wilds of New Orleans connecting the projection surface with a performance area framed by the flower puppets created by Jessica Scott. The film, created by Lindsay Abromaitis-Smith and Caroline Yes, incorporated video from the past two performances of BLOOM with found footage of seeds sprouting and flowers blooming, and included a recorded soundtrack by Caroline Yes which built on the live scores for the past two performances.

FLOWN on The Chris Gethard Show #92

The Chris Gethard Show has been referred to as “an often riveting experiment in seat-of-your-pants broadcasting” by The New York Times, “a party on the public access airwaves” by New York Magazine, and once caused Conan O’Brien to say “we’re going to rip that off.”
Broadcast every Wednesday night at 11pm eastern from the Manhattan Neighborhood Network studios on the far west side of Manhattan and available both live and archived on the internet, TCGS is different each week – sometimes insane, sometimes heartfelt, sometimes sad, and hopefully always in some way funny. With no formula, no budget, and no mainstream attention, the show survives on the heart, inventiveness, and stubborn dedication of the thirty or so people that comprise the cast, crew, and support team of the show on any given week.

Bardo Thodol Halloween Show 2012
Secret Project Robot
Brooklyn, NY

"In an attempt to slay ego of herself and the show audience, and to show the necessary duality of harmony and chaos, and in an effort to reconcile any childhood issues with mothers, the Delphic Sibyl will perform a Death and Rebirth ritual invoking and dedicated to the Hindu Goddess of Chaos and Destruction: Kali. A young man will be chosen, killed, and escorted through the halls of hell to meet Kali, his mother, and ultimately become Kali, while Kali is reincarnated into our current reality."
